 How to make a Boat Booking to Tokelau from Overseas

1) Please first view our annual boat schedule

2) Contact the Transport Officer via email or phone call with your date of intended travel,  please confirm first with our Transport Officer if your preferred sailing is still sailing as scheduled

3) Once sailing is confirmed please email or contact our Transport Officer with the following:

  • Name and Surname on Passport
  • Date of birth
  • Passport Number and Nationality
  • Passport Expiry Date

4) Await response from the Transport Officer and then arrange payment of your bookings.

*Please note for return bookings from Tokelau you MUST advise the appropriate Village Transport Advisors see contacts below to confirm your return.

 

 How to make a Boat Booking from Tokelau

Bookings from Tokelau to Apia can be booked and paid via Apia Office, but please advise the appropriate Village Transport Advisors;

*Terms and Conditions:

1. Passengers are carried at their own risk. The administration, the carrier and their servants and agents shall not be liable under any circumstances for:

(a) loss of life or illness of, personal injury to any passenger, whether as a result of negligence or not on the part of the Administration, the Carrier or their servants or agents;

(b) early, late or cancelled sailing of the vessel;

(c) non-availability, for what ever reason, of passenger space on the vessel;

(d) delay during the voyage, no matter for what reason; or

(e) loss or damage of baggage

2. Hand baggage and checked baggage is carried subject to the provisions of the New Zealand Carriage of Goods Act, 1979

 * Unpaid Bookings

Note that unpaid bookings will only be tentative until paid. We work on a first pay first on basis, any unpaid bookings will be taken off the passenger list two weeks prior to sailing date. Failure to advise our office of cancellation of bookings will result in an immediate $25.00NZD deduciton from an Adult Fare and $12.50NZD for child's fare unpon re-imsbursement. Past experience with tour groups where only half or less turn up has led to us putting these procedures in place. To avoid disappointment please pay as soon as possible.

*Transit Letter

Tokelauans travelling to Tokelau on a ONE WAY TICKET and have paid your boat booking must advise us 1 week prior to your departure to Samoa, for immigration purposes a letter is required to confirm you are in transit to Tokelau. Please inform us of a fax number for us to fax you the required letter.
